I am going to share my progress after male rhinoplasty. I wanted to tell the whole story, but I am not very good with words... Even before joining the military, friends often told me things like, “Your nose would look good if you just fixed it,” and I thought so too. After enlisting, I noticed that quite a few juniors and seniors in my unit were also interested in cosmetic surgery. I asked them for advice and thought I definitely had to get rhinoplasty after discharge.
After leaving the military, I diligently visited clinics, including ones recommended by acquaintances. My goal was actor Ji Chang-wook... It was an ambitious goal haha. Even though it might be difficult, I went to consultations imagining a clean, strong straight-nose look. I liked my consultation with Dr. Park Jeong-heum at [Clinic A], and it was also where an acquaintance had their rhinoplasty done, with an excellent result, so I trusted them and proceeded.
Until the splint was removed, it was initially quite uncomfortable, but the clinic staff cared for me well. As the swelling gradually went down, my face looked more three-dimensional and defined than before, which I liked. I went back for a follow-up this time, and once again the doctor examined me carefully and put my mind at ease. I think that part is really good.
The progress is good, and I feel that the functional aspects have improved a lot too. Breathing had been somewhat uncomfortable, and one side of my nose was blocked. Since it had been that way for a long time, I had assumed it was normal, but after surgery the difference was so noticeable that I realized, “So this is what breathing is supposed to feel like.” haha
I am truly grateful that the doctor took such good care of me and paid attention to aftercare as well. If anyone here is curious about rhinoplasty for men, I hope this helps.
