One-year review after toric lens implantation

It has already been a year since my toric lens implantation. Until about the first two months, I had dryness, glare, and fairly severe halo symptoms, but after that period passed, I gradually stopped noticing those inconveniences. Now I live as if I have even forgotten that I had surgery. I wore glasses for 20 years, so I am incredibly happy to have escaped my glasses-wearing life. My astigmatism was so severe that I could not even wear cosmetic lenses before, but now I can occasionally wear plano cosmetic lenses when I feel like dressing up, which is wonderful. I never realized how convenient it would be not to pack glasses, lenses, and lens solution when traveling. I do not have to search for my glasses first thing in the morning, and having one fewer thing in my luggage is much more convenient than expected. Looking back after a year, the first two months were dry and slightly uncomfortable, but I have been satisfied ever since. Living without glasses after wearing them for 20 years makes my quality of life feel very different. Now I genuinely feel that having the surgery was the right decision.
