My myopia was -3.00D and my astigmatism was about -2.00D. The corneal thickness in both eyes was over 560, so I think it was on the thicker side. Because I had some astigmatism, I underwent SMILE Pro LASIK with corneal cross-linking, costing around 4 million won. I think there was a discount because it was during a promotional period. They seem to run promotions from time to time. The director was somewhat cynical, with a very strong T-type personality, and seemed almost like a cyborg, which actually made me feel more reassured about the surgery. He seemed quite conservative and placed a lot of importance on safety, which suited me perfectly because I am very safety-conscious. After surgery, my vision was somewhat foggy and unclear on the first day, but it gradually started improving that night. By the next day, I could see quite well. Of course, you should not drink alcohol or smoke. Just hold out for a little while. I heard doing those things at this point can seriously slow recovery. So do not blame the hospital for no reason. It has been about eight months now, and I am extremely satisfied. Most of all, it is really convenient when exercising or doing similar activities. As far as I know, this surgery cannot be performed once presbyopia develops, so if you are considering it, I think it is better to do it sooner. Somehow, it feels like I was reborn. It is one of the surgeries that makes me think, “If I could go back, I would have done it sooner.” My satisfaction with it in daily life has been as high as with my snoring surgery.
