I had incisional ptosis correction, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty. To properly control the initial swelling, I went to the clinic about three times a week, and the swelling really went down quickly. It has been about a month, and only residual swelling remains, which I plan to let resolve naturally. Since follow-up was free, I could go comfortably, but I felt a little embarrassed about going too often;;
Still, after the ptosis correction, opening my eyes became much easier, which is great. The double eyelids also formed naturally. They say lateral and lower canthoplasty are the most direct way to make the eyes look bigger, and mine really became huge, so all my friends teased me that I looked like a different person. But they meant it as a compliment, so it was fine.
Lower canthoplasty lowered the outer corners as a small accent, and hearing people say my eyes looked gentler and suited me made me feel that I had done the right thing by getting both procedures... Anyway, I like everything.
Just six months ago, my eyelids covered about half my pupils, making me look stifled, and my eyes were tiny. I lived with subtle stress, not quite sure whether it was a complex or not. I never imagined plastic surgery could even change my self-esteem.
Thanks to this, I have been walking around with my shoulders back lately.
The clinic first corrected the strength needed to open my eyes, then explained enthusiastically, even drawing pictures, that adding lateral and lower canthoplasty would give me clearly larger eyes if I wanted them bigger. It really sank in. I had the surgery thinking this could give me the eyes I wanted, and they turned out very similar to what I imagined, so I am ridiculously happy. I asked several friends about the clinic, and apparently two of them had also visited after researching extensively. Maybe it left an impression because they understood exactly what I wanted.
