Is double-jaw surgery risky? That all feels like old news now. My face got smaller and I look younger

It's already been 4 months since my double-jaw surgery, and time really does fly~ I had my surgery with Dr. Kim Jong-yoon at Reason Oral Surgery, and now that I've recovered a lot, daily life is much easier^^ Ever since I was young, I had a lot of stress because of my malocclusion, but back then I heard so many stories saying double-jaw surgery was dangerous and scary that I gave up on it. Then recently I learned that surgical techniques have improved a lot compared to before, and that there are many more safe surgical environments and medical teams available, so I started looking into it seriously again~ I consulted and compared several clinics, and Reason Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was the kindest, and above all, it gave me the most trust^^ I also looked up a lot of YouTube videos and reviews, and they felt the most relatable. After a direct consultation, Dr. Kim Jong-yoon and the manager explained difficult things in an easy-to-understand way, which made everything clear and gave me a comfortable feeling, so I decided to have double-jaw surgery here~ Now that it's been 4 months, the biggest change I feel is that eating is now about 80-90% unrestricted. At my 3-month follow-up, they showed me the X-ray, said the bones had joined well and recovery was progressing smoothly, and told me that it was okay to eat almost everything now, which made me really happy. The swelling has gone down a lot, to the point that nobody around me says my face looks swollen anymore. There are still a few areas where sensation hasn't fully returned, but I don't feel any inconvenience in daily life at all^^ And every time I look in the mirror, my face feels a little smaller than before, which makes me even more satisfied. I just need to keep going a bit more, and I'm already looking forward every day to what changes I'll see at the 6-month mark~ haha
