I had double-jaw surgery this February, so it is already July. It has been 5 months since the surgery, and compared to month 1, the swelling has gone down a lot, and the degree to which I can open my mouth has recovered to the same as before surgery. Compared to before the surgery, the swelling has not completely gone down yet, but the major swelling is all gone and only minor swelling remains. The reason I decided to have the surgery was because of my malocclusion, but now my bite fits well and I can cut food properly, so I was very satisfied after the surgery!
