It has already been almost 3 months since I had double jaw and contouring surgery (square jaw, chin). Since I realized from the age of 20 that my face was asymmetrical, I went to the dentist and was told that orthodontics would not solve it and that I would need double jaw surgery, but I gave up because I was scared. Then 10 years passed, and I finally decided to go through with the double jaw surgery that had been lingering in the back of my mind. After consulting at YangYunDol Hospital, they said I could do surgery first and orthodontics afterward, so everything moved ahead very smoothly. Until the first month, because of the swelling, I could not really tell what had changed, but starting around the second month, it felt like my facial balance was finally settling into place. I also had a slight underbite, and that was corrected too. I wish I had done it sooner. I am satisfied with the surgical result. I do not really have any discomfort, and I am looking forward to how my face will keep changing.
