Nose Re-Surgery

Will my nasal tip lift if I remove the implant?

I had surgery 4 years ago using silicone (3 mm) plus a small amount of septal cartilage. It was only one surgery. I begged the surgeon to make it look as natural as possible, so he did not overdo it and made it fairly natural. Recovery was very fast and there was no scar. I still have almost no problems now, but I feel psychologically uneasy about carrying silicone in my nose forever, and I just really hate the foreign-body sensation. Also, after the nose surgery, my nose seems to look longer, so I want it removed. My original nose was small and slightly upturned, so part of my nostrils showed a little. (With the operated nose, the nostrils show even more because the tip was lifted.) After looking things up on YouTube, I kept seeing people say that removal surgery can make the nose look upturned and the tip rise. I do not mind if the bridge becomes lower, but there is absolutely no way I can accept my nostrils being more upturned than they are now after surgery Is it impossible to do a full removal if I want to minimize nostril upturning as much as possible? Do I just need to remove the silicone and reposition the nasal tip..?
