Nose Re-Surgery

Silicone only removed!! Almost 2 months later review

Hello. I searched for a lot of removal reviews before my own surgery, so I wanted to share this in hopes that it helps someone. It has been about 3 years since I had nose surgery, and as time passed the silicone started to show more and more. There was also a somewhat chalky, white visible look, and honestly even from the beginning I was not fully satisfied with the shape itself. I originally had a rather gentle impression, but after surgery the bridge between my eyes felt too emphasized, and it kept stressing me out because it did not suit my image. After thinking about it for a very long time, I finally decided to remove the silicone. I kept the septal extension and ear cartilage, and had only the silicone removed while also smoothing the step at the nasal tip. What I was most worried about was whether the nose would look wide and flat after removal, whether the bridge would look hollow, or whether there would be a step, but as of almost 2 months now, I am satisfied and none of those things have happened. Even when the tape came off, it looked more natural than I expected, and it was close to the feeling I wanted. I was especially worried about the step, but thankfully it now looks smoothly connected, so I feel relieved. Of course, I have seen reviews saying things can change over time, so I plan to post another update with photos around the 6-month mark. Honestly, I did not go back 100% to my pre-surgery impression. Still, everyone around me keeps saying, “I’m glad you removed it,” and “It looks much more natural now,” and my family says they can see my old feeling again, so I am satisfied too. And right now I do not feel any contraction phase at all lol I was worried, but sometimes I do feel a kind of crackling sensation? lol, but it does not look raised. I was also very worried about the columella scar, but the doctor must be a master, because it is incredibly clean. I do not have great writing skills, so I just wrote everything out and asked ChatGPT to polish it. If you have any other questions, ask me. I will not answer private comments with names While I was looking for information before my nose surgery, I was so curious and frustrated. I will not reply to private comments.
