Contracted Nose With Gore-Tex Surgery From 14 Years Ago

Before (warning: disturbing photo) I’m in my early 40s now. I first had nose surgery in my early 20s. Back then, there wasn’t much information, and foolishly, I was excited just by the fact that I was getting surgery, so I didn’t even think to look into it properly and just had it done in my neighborhood. The first was silicone. After just a few months, the silicone protruded from inside my nose, so I had it removed. Then revision surgery - ear cartilage & autologous dermis. Again, after a few months, the implant protruded, so I had it removed. The director said it couldn’t be helped because my skin was thin. So the third surgery was Gore-Tex. As I said above, I was young and foolish. So when the director explained that Gore-Tex was expensive and that he would redo the surgery with a better material, I just decided to do it without suspicion or worry. When I checked after surgery, my nose was crooked, and the nasal bridge was almost the same height as my original nose. And my nostrils were too big. But after going through a total of five surgeries, including removal surgeries, I didn’t want any more surgery. It was too hard. I thought if I just pretended not to see it and was satisfied myself, it would be okay. Every year, my nose got shorter, the nasal tip lifted, and my nostrils became wider. Now I don’t think it even looks like a normal nose anymore, and my confidence is at rock bottom. Even though I’m late in my 40s, I really want the surgery to succeed and live with a pretty nose.
