They removed the silicone from the nasal bridge, lowered the tip, and rearranged it using existing costal cartilage and ear cartilage. It wasn’t because of inflammation or side effects; I did it because my original surgical nose was so pointy that in photos it looked like a pig nose. It has been 2 weeks since surgery and the major swelling seems to have gone down overall. The tip has become rounder than before and improved, but the nostrils still feel pointed. They said the mid-bridge is high, so it needs to be raised this much for the tip not to look droopy. My image is on the glamorous side, so a slightly upturned nose does not suit me, and I’m worried it looks too much like one. Will it get better if the swelling goes down more? I thought the nostrils would become round after surgery, but there’s not much difference... I asked them to raise the tip only very slightly from my natural nose T_T
