I didn't even know I had contracture. I thought contracture always meant inflammation. But when the app showed my side profile, my nose was extremely turned up.
After looking up contracture, I realized I might be that case, and I only just found out about this site and have been looking into it. I'm considering consultations at [Clinic A] and [Clinic B].
I ruled out [Clinic C] because it's too far away.
For now, I also ruled out anything too flashy? I only just learned about that this time too.
I just want my nose not to be turned up, and I'm worried that making it higher would mean another revision surgery. I just want to think of this as the last one and hope only to bring it down.
My nose was operated on a very long time ago, and the bridge was built up with Gore-Tex. It was probably very small and low to begin with, so I remember taking ear cartilage, and I think that was used for the alar area. I think the septum was used too. I don't want silicone, autologous costal cartilage, or anything like that either (I hate revision surgery T_T). But because it was so low, if everything is removed, I feel like the nose would disappear entirely, so I just want to leave the current bridge as it is (there doesn't seem to be anything like inflammation or movement from it) and only lower this turned-up look. After reading a lot, it seems like that probably won't be possible. Maybe? Anyway, I'm considering [Clinic A] and [Clinic B], and I really want honest information about side effects, drawbacks, or advantages, plus revision surgery experiences and costs for a case like mine with Gore-Tex. My husband says I should just have it done properly and beautifully, but I'm also worried about the cost. Could you please be honest with me?
