I have a septal extension graft, donor rib cartilage, and ear cartilage at the tip of my nose, but my original nose was a bit short and slightly upturned, so if everything is removed I feel like it will turn up. I’m wondering whether it’s possible to leave only the minimum support strut at exactly my original nose height and angle. Is that what surgeons usually mean when they say to leave the support strut in place? T_T I’m not trying to be greedy about the shape or height, I just want it to act like a brace so it does not turn up during the contraction phase. Is that possible??
