After<after>Before<after>Before<after>Before<after>Before<before>Before<before>During the first week with the splint on, it felt stuffy and the bridge of my nose inside the splint was itchy, so I kept wondering when time would pass, but after the splint came off, time has been going by so fast~ I think it’s already been about a month and ten days~ As I wrote in my first review, I didn’t have major bruising after surgery, and my swelling wasn’t as bad as other people’s, but even so, I could feel the swelling going down little by little each day. Overall, I have almost no pain. Sometimes only my ear throbs a little. For the nasal bridge, I had the hump removed and an osteotomy, but strangely enough, there really is no pain. On both sides of the bridge, where I guess the septal cartilage was taken from, when I touch that area, I can feel a slight unfamiliar sensation and swelling, like it hasn’t fully recovered yet and the swelling will go down more~ It doesn’t feel like hard scar tissue; it’s soft and squishy. It really feels like something that used to be there is gone, like the inside feels a bit empty? When I touch it, it feels refreshing, like getting a skin massage haha If I had put silicone in my nasal bridge, I really would have regretted it. I think I probably would have ended up with a huge nose haha As for the nasal tip, it has definitely improved compared with the beginning, but since my skin is on the thick side, it still feels tight and firm, so I think the nasal tip will become more natural and slimmer after more time passes~ I’m hoping the scar tissue and swelling at the incision area inside my nose go down quickly haha Maybe because the incision area is hard and swollen, sometimes breathing feels stuffy or my nose gets blocked, but it’s not uncomfortable enough to interfere with daily life. When I smile or make facial expressions, it still feels a bit tight. Other people don’t really notice it, but since it’s my own face and I look at it every day, a slight protrusion near the nostril entrance bothered me a bit. When I went in for my 1-month visit, the director explained with a model what it was, showing where the support column was placed and how the cartilage was inserted. There was a slight feeling of cartilage near the entrance of my left nostril, so they removed it with a laser, and they also gave me an injection to help the septal cartilage in the nasal tip soften faster, saying I should come back once more in a month and we’d check the progress. The clinic isn’t large and has a cozy feel, so even when I visit, I feel psychologically at ease, which is comfortable and nice.

I think the director is good at surgery, but lacks aesthetic sense.. They didn’t tell me that lowering the nostrils would make the nose look bigger. My biggest dislike, since I had a bulbous nose, was that it would still look like a…
