It’s a revision surgery, and I had a consultation where they said they would use donor costal cartilage for the columella and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, combining those two for the surgery. Is it common to build the columella with donor costal cartilage too..?! I’m worried that later, as time passes, it might become soft and floppy and cause deformation or side effects.....Everyone, what do you think about donor costal cartilage for the columella...?
