I heard this place is popular for arm liposuction lately, so I went for a consultation. Compared with my body shape, I carry a bit of fat in my upper arms, and with my wedding ceremony coming up soon, I initially looked into fat-dissolving injections. But when I asked around, nine out of ten people told me to just get liposuction, so I eventually had a consultation too T_T. I did not choose a specific doctor, and there were more people than expected.
After waiting a bit, I went into the consultation. They directly measured the thickness of my arm fat with ultrasound and assessed how much could be removed. They also explained roughly what kind of contour would result from surgery. Since I do not have an extremely low amount of muscle, they said I would not necessarily end up with stick-thin arms T_T.
Rather than saying everything was possible no matter what, they seemed to speak honestly about what was possible for my body type, which I actually liked. I saw many reviews saying the consultation was detailed, but perhaps because I did not select a specific doctor, I personally did not feel it was extremely detailed. It felt a little like I heard the basic explanation, had a consultation according to a manual, and that was it.
The price was straightforward, perhaps because it was fixed pricing. I was quoted in the high 3-million-won range for two areas: my arms and the posterior upper-arm bulge.
After the consultation, I understood why people around me recommend liposuction. It does seem better for clearly refining the contour than getting fat-dissolving injections multiple times. But the time until my wedding is too tight now, so I do not think I will have surgery right away T_T. Considering the recovery period, I think it would be too much to do it now... Still, if I had just a little more time, I think I would have done it.
The consultation itself was not bad, and I plan to consult at a few more places before deciding.
