Even putting in contact lenses is hard for me, so every time I put them in, I usually struggle with them for 20 to 30 minutes.. Because of that level of eye blinking and eye movement from even a small touch, VisuMax depends on the surgeon's skill, but the Atos system automatically focuses on its own and the laser ablation time is short, so I chose it. I really do think there is a difference. VisuMax (the surgeon's skill matters) vs Atos (the machine does it on its own) VisuMax is still a device trusted because it has been used for Smile LASIK for a long time. But Atos literally focuses on its own and performs the ablation, so if you are sensitive to anything touching your eyes, I strongly recommend Atos! I am not kidding, even while the laser was firing my eyes were moving... I got scolded hard by the doctor. Right after surgery, the eye that had been moving had some slight glare, but that got better now. Now both eyes are maintaining 1.2! Personally, rather than recommending a doctor, I just recommend the Atos device
