Review of Smile LASIK

It has been about 7 months since I had Smile LASIK, and to start with the conclusion, I am satisfied lol. Before the surgery, I searched for reviews a lot and got scared for no reason, worrying whether it would hurt or whether I would not be able to open my eyes, but when I actually did it, the surgery itself finished much faster than I expected. It was not so much pain as the feeling of something touching my eyes and a sense of pressure, which felt a bit unfamiliar, and from the way home afterward my eyes stung and kept tearing up, so that day I just lay down with my eyes closed. The surgery day was the most uncomfortable for me, and from the next day I was definitely better. The most amazing thing was waking up the next day and being able to see the wall clock without glasses lol. I had been someone who looked for glasses first thing every morning, so it felt really strange. In the early stage there was some glare at night, and my eyes dried out easily, so I used artificial tears often. It has improved a lot compared with the beginning, but the dryness still remains a little when I am not feeling well or when I look at a computer for a long time. Personally, being free from glasses and contact lenses is the best part, and it has become really convenient for makeup and exercise. Still, everyone’s eyes are different and recovery speed is different too, so it is not a matter of unconditional recommendation; I think the most important thing is to get a thorough examination and confirm whether the surgery suits your eyes. I was also scared before doing it and kept putting it off, but now I do wonder why I worried about it for so long 😂
