I visited to look into revision surgery for a pinched nose shape and a long nose. I lay down on the operating table, checked the nose shape, and the consultation started. Since I said I wanted the long nose shortened, they said if they released all the pinched parts it would take about 4 hours, and that they would remove the septal extension and replace it with nasal cartilage. Because my skin is thin, they said we should use AlloDerm to prevent showing through, and that we would need to watch for a year to see how much it gets absorbed. The doctor was honest and gave a good consultation. The price is too high, though. I’ll have to think about it.
