Eye Surgery review at Gim&Song (김&송) · 2019-04-18

I am currently in my early 30s, and when I was a third-year high school student, I had epicanthoplasty and double-eyelid surgery done by Director Song. Back then I also visited many places and consulted around, and there was also talk that Daegu-born Miss Korea Son Tae-young had eye surgery there (not certain, just hearsay), and the price was the highest at the time among the clinics I consulted, including Daegu Yosep, Hong Seong-ju, and others. I was still a minor, so I begged my parents and combined the money I had saved from part-time jobs to pay for the surgery. The reason I chose that clinic was the confident consultation. If it were now, I would definitely start doubting that kind of confidence first (I also have experience with nose surgery, and trusting that confidence while only believing customer reviews and testimonials got me burned). I had some eye fat too, and I had used double-eyelid glue for years before that, so my skin had sagged a bit and there was slight skin irritation? Other places all recommended incisional surgery, but here, at the time, they performed partial buried sutures, which had just started to be introduced and combined the advantages of suture and incision. They said we could also remove some eye fat and do the epicanthoplasty together. Out of the 7 clinics that recommended epicanthoplasty, 3 including this one did, so I hesitated, but I trusted them and had it done. To my surprise, after surgery, since I swell up easily, on that day there was almost no swelling at all, just the epicanthoplasty stitches and the scar? There was a woman waiting for consultation who asked me when I came out after surgery what surgery I had had, whether I had had nose surgery? That's how little swelling there was around the eyes. My nose also had very vertical nostrils, so in high school 2-3 friends asked me if I'd had nose surgery. It looked like a Jang Nara nose? (I didn't like that, so I wanted a wide, big nose.) I digressed a bit there. Anyway, because there was so little swelling I was also worried, afraid it would settle too quickly But after removing the epicanthoplasty stitches and going back to school after classes resumed, my friends really said it turned out well and asked where I had it done. Many people around me had their eyes changed too, not just me. Hong Seong-ju was one, Yosep was another, and so on - everyone had it done at the famous clinics at the time. But overall, I think mine had the prettiest line and looked the most natural. And among the ones done with buried sutures alone, half of them came undone, and even after becoming adults, only a few of my friends who had surgery still maintained a clear result. Anyway, among all the procedures and surgeries I've had, I think my eyes turned out the best. My other friends say the same (orthodontics, nose surgery, twice revision surgery, fillers, Botox, etc..
