I had double eyelid surgery 10 years ago, and back then I was young and this was the place my friends around me had good results at, so I got a consultation and had the surgery right away. The director had long experience and was on the older side, and he just said what needed to be said and that was it. I had a lot of fat in my upper eyelids, so they removed the fat and did a partial incision, but after a few months I started to get a sleepy-eyed look and had no strength in the lids. Back then, the trend of doing eye-opening correction together wasn't really a thing, and I lived not knowing anything about ptosis or eye-opening correction. After 7 years, one side had almost loosened and had no strength, so I started looking into double eyelid surgery with eye-opening correction. But at three places they told me I should go back to the original clinic because it would be cheaper there and that Director Song is very good at assessing these cases, so I went back. The director calmly agreed that it was ptosis and that I needed eye-opening correction, did it cheaply, and I have been living with it naturally and well ever since. My only regret is that if they had done it together from the beginning, I would have had less trouble.
