Midas is such a large hospital and has a separate stem-cell research center, so I went with low expectations, and because it was a weekday morning I was the only person there. First, the manager explained the surgery process well along with the principles behind it, which made me really like the hospital atmosphere. The doctor saw me briefly, but did an ultrasound, looked at the consultation form, and told me roughly how much fat could be removed, talked about liposuction and scars, and answered my questions. There were some reviews saying the doctor was unfriendly, but when I met him during the consultation he was exactly the kind of doctor I prefer: blunt. I liked everything from start to finish, but the manager told me to go check out the consultation I had booked at the Yongsan branch and then decide, so that’s what I did. I’m now waiting for surgery with Dr. Kim at the Yongsan branch. The reason is that I’m going to get it through FS, and if the cost is the same, I think it’s better to go with someone who has more years of experience. Even though this was almost my last consultation, it was the most detailed, the hospital was comfortable (of course, it’s also convenient to get there from my place..), and I liked the atmosphere.
