I had an incision surgery, and because my eyelids were sagging, I had excess eyelid skin removed. When I briefly fell asleep under anesthesia, I received a local anesthetic injection in the eye. They said that because I have facial asymmetry, the two sides could turn out slightly differently, but the double eyelids ended up being different on both sides. I’m not even sure if they did the front canthoplasty, and the epicanthic fold is still there. Six months after surgery it came undone, so I went back and had it done again with buried sutures, but it came undone again.
