It seems like it has been 3 to 4 years since the surgery. I had an incision procedure, epicanthoplasty, and forehead Botox. The reason I went there was because I heard they only point out the necessary surgeries, and especially that they don’t often recommend ptosis correction, so I searched online a lot about ptosis correction before going. (Everywhere else except this hospital had recommended ptosis correction.) When I knew nothing, I had double-eyelid surgery, but once the swelling went down, the line got buried in the skin and couldn’t be seen. They had made it too small, so I had revision surgery to make it bigger again, and even after doing it twice, there wasn’t as much scarring as I expected. No one would know unless I said so. One eye was in-out and the other was in-line, but the front part of the in-out side loosened, so I’m just living with it. Maybe it’s more natural now... anyway, annoying.. There was a nurse with big eyes back then, and she was unbelievably rude. I wonder if she’s still there. Anyway, if you want a specific eyelid line, you really need to make it clear during the consultation. I’m a bit fuzzy on the memory, but I think I lay down right away before surgery without a consultation. They marked the line with something like a needle while I was lying down, and then when the surgery started, the doctor didn’t show me the line. The epicanthoplasty doesn’t really show. It only left a white-skin scar, and I still have the Mongolian fold. Looking back after all these years, I didn’t understand the forehead Botox, but it helps stop the habit of lifting the eyes with the forehead, and people who wear glasses often do that a lot. After double-eyelid surgery, I recommend getting LASIK or keeping away from glasses and opening your eyes properly.
