I went for a consultation about double eyelid surgery. When I first went in, they looked at my dark circles and asked if I had a habit of rubbing my eyes. From what I heard, they said eyelids can stretch from rubbing them and from squinting because your eyesight is bad, and that was how they started the explanation. I went to five clinics, and compared to the others they explained ptosis and pseudoptosis in a really detailed way. My biggest concern was whether to do ptosis correction or not, and after hearing the explanation I became so convinced that I shouldn't do it. They first talked about a partial-incision method, but when I asked about the buried method, they said that was also possible and that I should choose for myself, and unlike other places they said incisional and buried methods cost the same.
