I'm in my mid-40s, and because I had sagging skin, they said it would be better to do the lower blepharoplasty together, so I went ahead with full incision surgery together. It's been 3 months, and the doctor is a bit sharp-tongued. This is absolutely not an easy surgery, but before surgery they tend to make it sound simple. After surgery, pain and wounds really vary from person to person, so they just keep repeating the same thing. Right now one side seems fine, but on the other side the surgical scar is a bit too noticeable... There must be a reason they say to allow 5 months for under-eye pain and healing.
