I had consultations at several places, but overall this was the best. I consulted with Dr. Kim Giwan. The consultation went manager-doctor-manager, and including the 30-minute wait, I spent more than 2 hours there. The manager's explanation was specific and focused on the clinic's strengths. Then they took photos on a tablet and, during the doctor's consultation, did a basic design on top of the photos. I liked that they explained the basic materials and gave detailed explanations of the surgical method suitable for my nose. At the final manager consultation, they explained the cost, and at that point the price kept getting added on like Porsche options, then later adjusted down, which did make me feel a little less trust in how the pricing was set. I also thought that if I had consulted with a different manager, the price could have been higher or lower. Also, because they use general anesthesia as standard, there is an anesthesiologist on site, and I was told that even for a first surgery, autologous costal cartilage could be used. They said this is used when, for example, the septum is deviated and a proper nasal tip design cannot be made, so it is a burden, but it seems to have both pros and cons. After considering the overall consultation, surgery reviews, and the surgeon's career and reputation, I ultimately decided to have the surgery here.
