I went to The Plan for a consultation, and the doctor didn’t seem like the type to claim effects that don’t exist, and just from watching the YouTube videos you can tell they’re professional. What I didn’t like a bit was that the consultation manager gave me the feeling of looking down on me.. though maybe that’s because I look a bit cheerful and kind. Anyway, I had been thinking about mini-facelift surgery for a full year, and I knew a lot of information because I had personally asked people with side effects every month as the months changed (not at The Plan hospital). And of course I already knew The Plan’s mini-facelift price, and even how its pricing had changed over time. But during the consultation, the manager said that even though it was a mini-facelift, my face needed a bit more incision, so there would be an extra fee. The hospital doctor had never said that, and there wasn’t even time for just the manager and doctor to talk alone. It felt like they were saying that to everyone. Anyway, if you took the eye-covered photo, the price was similar to what I had expected, but they said they would also include front cheek liposuction, which they normally don’t do. But isn’t adding more cosmetic work something that should also depend on the patient’s opinion, and for some patients it might not be a service? I have no intention of ever doing liposuction again, because it made my skin sag and I do not want my skin to get thinner. I was momentarily flustered because I had no intention of doing it, so I pretended to think about it. But then the consultation manager said, do you dislike it? If you don’t want it, you don’t have to do it, but we’d be doing it as a service so I’d be the only one losing out That really lowered my trust. And the manager said their own face had mini-facelift surgery and they were even thinking about switching to a traditional facelift instead, but honestly, I pretended to believe it. After what was said earlier, my trust had dropped, so I can’t really believe that was true. It all felt like they were saying everything just to get me to do more. If they were really luring patients in with lies like that, I think that would be a truly unacceptable thing to do. Anyway, I know The Plan is a hospital that does facelifts well, but I do think the manager’s attitude was a little off.
