The doctor said he had worked for 5 years at a hospital famous for under-eye fat repositioning, and that he’s now been open here for 5 years. The managers were really kind, but the doctor’s consultation style didn’t suit me, so I didn’t have surgery here.. The consultation was only about 2 minutes.. maybe because there were lots of patients, he seemed rushed and I couldn’t even ask everything I wanted to ask. Q. Is under-eye fat repositioning permanent? I heard some people relapse. A. That’s because the surgery was done wrong. It’s permanent. (No further explanation) Q. Are there any problems with sensation under the eyes or other side effects? A. No. The second question was because while I was researching side effects, I saw a lot of people saying they felt tingling under the eyes or had numbness. But just saying no without any explanation... (From consulting elsewhere, I heard these symptoms usually come back later) So I couldn’t get detailed explanations like that, and I didn’t feel confident that aftercare would be handled properly if I weren’t satisfied with the surgery.
