Six years ago, I had a consultation and surgery at a hospital that was popular in this community. I had a silicone nasal bridge implant, ear cartilage at the tip, and correction of something called the nasolabial angle. Recently, I consulted another hospital about removal, and it turned out they had used my septum too. I had no idea they used my nasal septum...... I was shocked to learn this after six years. The nasolabial angle was hidden by my nose, so I had never paid attention to it, but it seems they adjusted the angle using the nasal tip support. They did not put anything in my philtrum or mouth. My mouth shape feels somehow different, and now that I want removal, I regret not looking into it more carefully. I originally wanted a very natural result, and the result is natural and pretty when I look only at my nose. The problem is that only my nose looks pretty, and it does not seem to harmonize with the rest of my face. I have had no major complications so far, but because of the foreign-body sensation and anxiety about silicone complications, I am deliberating whether to remove the silicone and have only the tip repositioned. I just heard that it would look natural and went ahead, but I think the nose did not harmonize with my face. (At the time, the hospital was famous as the one where singer [Doctor A] had surgery, and the shape of my nose really does seem similar.) Anyway, after having surgery once, I do not think my face is the kind that would change just by doing the nose. Now a natural nose with nothing done looks the prettiest to me, so I am looking into removal.
