I lived for almost 20 years with a round raised scar after a mole removal on my philtrum, so I had surgery because I wanted to get rid of it. Looking back now, I guess all the reviews I saw were ads. Compared to the scar that was already there, the incision was way longer than I expected (three times the length), so it bothered me even more, and I had to keep Steri-Strips on for about 6 months, which made care a hassle I'm so scared that if I don't care for it well, it could turn into another scar If I had known, I wouldn't have done it The other candidate place I was considering had a bit of scarring left, but they minimized the incision; I keep wondering if I should have gone there instead, and I regret it a bit As time passes it's less noticeable, but the white scar line is still a bit visible even with makeup.
