I went in for a consultation about nose surgery. It was obvious the doctor had pride in his surgical skills. There were also a lot of before-and-after photos showing really beautiful surgical results. The disappointing part was that both the consultation time and the surgery plan felt less like communication with me and more like the doctor wanted to proceed according to his own standard manual. I'd be happy to get such a good surgery, but I was worried about aftercare issues and communication after the operation.
