Eye Surgery review at Minteu (민트) · 2026-05-02

I consulted about both eyes and nose. It seems like the clinic focuses more on noses than eyes. I definitely had specific questions. For the eyes: whether it would be possible to correct the asymmetry and, since I don't like eyes that look too close together, to make the front look more open with double eyelids without doing epicanthoplasty; for the nose: whether, while naturally raising the bridge and tip, my naturally triangular and small nostrils would become even more triangular and smaller after surgery. That was the most important part. For the nose, they said I should not have surgery They said correcting nostrils that flare outward is easy, but correcting nostrils that point upward is difficult, and because my forehead is low, if the bridge is made higher, the nose would look longer. For the eyes too, they said asymmetry correction isn't possible, and if the goal is to make the eyes bigger then I should go ahead. Instead, they said if I do a partial incision, remove the fat from the eyelids, and do epicanthoplasty, the double-eyelid line would come out nicely. It felt like they were being very conservative, so I liked that, but another hospital was more appealing in how they designed the double-eyelid line, so I don't think I'll have the surgery here. Stitches out in 5 days and come back again after 3 months. They said there is no separate aftercare period, but they'll keep seeing me. However, there is no swelling laser or similar aftercare.
