First of all, the director was very proud of their own surgery, which made me trust them. I was worried about non-incisional cheekbone union, but it's been a year now and it's fused well. Before surgery I was worried about nerve damage in my jaw, but it was shaved nicely without any nerve damage, which I'm glad about. But maybe this is the limit of my face, because there isn't a dramatic change.. My face doesn't look that different from before surgery, so I went back to the hospital to get a CT and another consultation to see if I needed more surgery, and they said the surgery was done well and there was nothing more they could do here. Still, I actually liked that they told me honestly instead of pushing unnecessary surgery. And I can understand why the director's reputation is bad, but for me they took good care of me both during and after surgery, so I was happy. It seems like they don't like being asked questions though. As long as you just nod along with the doctor's words, there won't be any trouble.
