I had surgery 3 years ago. I looked up a ton of review posts and even sent private messages to people who had actually had the surgery, and I confirmed there were no side effects before I proceeded. After a consultation over KakaoTalk, I went ahead with the surgery. I paid in cash and got a bit of a discount, but I don't remember the exact amount. They said that if I did the jaw and cheekbones together, they would also do fat grafting, but I was scared so I passed on it. Thinking about it now, it's funny that I was scared of fat grafting while getting my jaw shaved too. After the surgery, the staff had already left, but the director kept checking my condition, and even when I was leaving the hospital late at night, they made sure I went to the pharmacy to get my medicine. They also told me to sleep a bit after the surgery, but I was in too much pain to sleep and got caught scrolling on my phone... The director scolded me a lot... I thought they were crazy. Anyway, I was probably touchy because I was worried the recovery might go badly... I went once for a follow-up after the surgery and never went back. I had no side effects and I am reasonably satisfied. Having the jaw and cheekbones done did not make my face look dramatically smoother. It feels like the lines were cleaned up a little. Maybe because my square jaw and cheekbones were not that severe to begin with.
