It seemed like a place that was well known in the cafe for revision eye surgery, so I went for a consultation once. As expected of a clinic specializing in eyes, the consultation was detailed and felt professional. The director was kind too, and answered everything I asked about, without any pressure. It definitely feels like a one-doctor clinic is more private and has a more relaxed atmosphere than a large hospital. And I had also read some comments saying they were a bit scary, so honestly I was a little nervous when I went. But I didn't really feel that they were scary? I think it's because their style is honest and they don't push procedures. The line the director drew for me wasn't completely perfect in my opinion, but it wasn't bad either, so it's on my shortlist. There was a bit of a wait, and the price is on the pretty high side, but I guess that's unavoidable for revision surgery plus a private clinic. Still, if I want my last surgery to be at a place with good skill, I wonder if I should just accept the cost.... I think I need to think about it some more before deciding.
