I went to a clinic for eye surgery consultation. I met with the director right away. After first checking what kind of eye shape I wanted and other wishes, they explained things step by step, including forehead lift and double eyelid surgery, and for my current eyes they recommended a brow lift as the surgery that would suit me best. Rather than changing to a more glamorous eye shape, I prefer a natural improvement that keeps my original eye shape. They seemed confident about the surgical direction, so even if I do get surgery, I don't think I'd worry. They showed photos of previous patients. Some people with sleepy-looking eyes improved a lot, but honestly there were also many photos where the difference was not that big. It seemed more effective for people whose outer eye corners were very droopy on both sides. Since drooping can increase with age, I don't think it would be bad to have it separately from double eyelid surgery, but the cost is more expensive than I expected, so that's the part I'm debating.
