I got my lower outer canthoplasty and lower widening, something I'd wanted my whole life, done at Hyundai Mihak. The reviews were extremely polarized, and there were so many comments saying it made eyes uneven that I was torn over whether to cancel right up until just before the surgery, and I was really nervous. But when I thought about it more carefully, I realized there was something I had overlooked. My eyes were, from the start, an extreme asymmetry that even doctors would marvel at!! I decided to use that to my advantage, and at the final design stage I told the director, who said that the smaller eye would be widened more and the higher eye would be lowered, so I felt reassured and went into surgery. Result: my eyes became insanely big, and the asymmetry that stood out so much in photos was corrected... They opened them as much as possible as I requested, and the eye size and height were matched.. insane. I thought maybe they were actually performing the surgery with intentional asymmetry in order to correct the asymmetry that even the patient didn't know about. ㄷㄷ Right now I like the size and shape of my eyes so much that I'm praying they don't become closer together.. To all the doctors who kept saying my eyes had no room for lower outer canthoplasty or lower widening and it wouldn't be effective, come out here,, my eyes were opened in exactly the direction I wanted and I like them so, so, so much.. Director Hwang seems to be exceptionally good at lower outer canthoplasty and lower widening at least.
