In 2021, I consulted at three places and had surgery, and everywhere I went they said my eyelid skin itself was thick (not a fat issue), so I couldn't make a big double eyelid. At one place, they recommended doing a forehead lift together so it wouldn't become sausage eyes, but I was too young then to do such a big surgery, so I passed. One place said to do an incision method with a low line. Here, they said a low line could be done with the non-incision method. However, I shouldn't be greedy at all, and since my eyelid skin would also get thinner as I got past 25, they said I should do it with the idea of considering a revision later around that time to make the line a bit bigger. I was just thinking that I only needed my eyes to be bigger than they were now, and it felt more like they were thinking about my future rather than just impulsively recommending a forehead lift, so I said okay and decided. From what it felt like during surgery, it was over in 20 minutes. The result turned out very natural, to the point that nobody knew I had double eyelid surgery. But if you think about it, that makes sense, because it wasn't even at the level of a normal inner line; only the very end of the line was visible. It had no choice but to look natural. And from the fourth year on, it did seem like the line got a bit lower. It's now the fifth year, and this is exactly the timing the doctor mentioned, so I'm thinking of getting it done again soon. I'd be willing to have the same doctor do it again here, and I'm also planning to look into it a bit more. I recommend it! It's a place where you'll absolutely never end up with sausage eyes. And!! Everyone around me had general anesthesia, but I was the only one who had local anesthesia, so I was very worried, but when they gave the anesthesia, it really did not hurt at all. It was surprisingly painless. Even during the consultation, when I asked if I could do it under sedation, they said why would you use sedation for such a small surgery, and told me not to worry because it wouldn't hurt at all.
