I had nose surgery, and rather than raising the nose or changing its shape, I cared most about correcting asymmetry and maintaining stability. Out of several places, I only consulted at two before deciding, and they explained in relatively concrete detail how to correct the asymmetry. Most importantly, I felt they wouldn’t recommend overly aggressive surgery, so I trusted them. Unfortunately, the surgery result still left some nasal asymmetry, so personally I’m not completely satisfied. That said, people around me hardly notice it, and instead they often say my nose looks pretty, so I take comfort in that. I heard asymmetry correction is originally difficult, so I’m just living with it now and feel generally satisfied.
