I had surgery for protruding mouth about 8 years ago here. I found the place through Q&A sites and didn’t really do much hands-on research. The residual swelling lasted about 6 months, I think, and I’ve been living well without any major side effects. Even if I could go back, I think I’d still choose protruding-mouth surgery. Oh, but in the early period after surgery, when I bit my teeth together, my teeth felt a bit strange. But after a year or two, it went back to normal.
