First, in February this year I came for a non-face-to-face consultation to check the progress after the cheekbone surgery I had at another hospital. I live in the provinces, so it was a bit hard to find time, but with the remote consultation there were not many time constraints, so I went in the same day, got a CT scan, and waited. About 5 to 7 days later, by email, they explained in detail through the CT what I had asked about. As someone who has watched Dr. Baek's YouTube a lot, I felt very satisfied and trusted him. So after deciding on nose surgery, I visited again in April for an in-person consultation. It felt like a really long consultation, maybe over 40 minutes... almost like a life consultation? I pretty much bothered the doctor a lot. Side effects, what happens if you do this, what happens if you do that... At the time I really could not figure out what to do, so it was more like I was asking the doctor to choose for me... and I had a very long consultation. The result was so satisfying. The doctor said that in terms of appearance he would recommend surgery, but with my current condition he would not perform it. He said I worry too much and am too anxious, and that even if the surgery result were good, I would still end up anxious and having a hard time... He said that if I truly wanted surgery, I needed to get my mind in order first and come back... I was a bit shocked. Even the manager did not tell me the estimate at first. They only told me after I asked. I learned a lot. I do want surgery at this hospital, but they said this hospital is more expensive than others, so I saved a little more than the average nose surgery cost, but the estimate I received was a bit over my budget... so I think I need to postpone the surgery a little longer than I expected ^^; Still, I plan to sort out my feelings a bit, save more money, and get surgery here. I don't know if my post will be helpful since it's a bit all over the place, but it's true that the consultation fee and CT fee are higher than at other hospitals. Still, I have no regrets. It's an investment in my face, so I was willing to pay that much. Of course, people may think differently..ㅎ I went to this hospital just for the doctor, so the attitude of the manager or other staff members did not matter to me, but people who pay attention to all of that might not like it.
