When I consulted about rhinoplasty, they said it could be done without an implant and explained it while propping up the tip of my nose with a cotton swab. But maybe because they were busy, the waiting time was too long and the consultation was very rushed. They said the septum could also be used, but they’d have to open it to know, and that they might use donated costal cartilage or ear cartilage, but I wish they had explained things like that during the consultation while looking at a CT scan. And when I asked about things I was curious about, there wasn’t a detailed explanation. I also asked a little about my eyes during the rhinoplasty consultation, and they said there was no need to touch them, in an annoyed-sounding way.
