I was wondering whether my nose was suitable for alar reduction or whether I needed nose surgery, so I said I wanted to make it higher, and they recommended reduction. There wasn’t much else in the consultation, and after the alar reduction they shaped it with a cotton swab, which I liked, so right after the consultation I was extremely satisfied. Later, the coordinator showed me photos of scars while consulting, and the doctor said to look at the scars in photos - the reason being that scar severity is perceived differently by each person, so they want you to judge how serious it is by looking. The coordinator honestly told me that with my nose shape, the scar would be visible from the front, so that gave me trust.
