I had surgery here about 8 years ago, and it turned into a very square jaw. I even developed a secondary angle, and they told me to get a buccal fat reduction too, so I trusted them and had the surgery, but my face ended up looking longer like a cucumber. I still wonder why they told me to do the buccal fat reduction. Even now, the side effects are worse: swelling and inflammation, and my face looks even longer. I've developed social anxiety and depression, and I haven't looked at photos or mirrors in a long time. I'm looking into reconstruction, but aside from the cost, they said the side effects would be even worse, so I gave up. I really don't meet anyone and just stay inside the house. It's so miserable.
