I had my first double-eyelid surgery here when I was young, about 6 years ago. I had a lot of fat in my eyelids and a feeling of ptosis, so fat removal was essential, and that was the main purpose. The fat removal definitely worked. The double-eyelid line was made as a thin inline, and it didn't feel unnatural or leave any scar. More than the director's eye for aesthetics or anything like that, they just do it the way the patient wants.
