I went for a consultation because I was worried about the hollowing in my upper eyelids. My eye hollows have become quite noticeable lately, and I’ve been feeling a heavy sensation when opening my eyes, so I asked about it. The doctor said that if I created a double eyelid line, it would not completely solve the hollowing. He also said it wasn’t necessary to go as far as fat grafting. He said there was no need to do lower blepharoplasty or lower eyelid fat repositioning right now either. He told me to think about it later, maybe around the time my children get married. He even wrote, <Let’s just live with it> haha. He said the effort and cost involved are too great, so he wouldn’t recommend it. They say this is a place that pursues natural beauty, but it feels like they pursue ‘nature’ itself. It seems they don’t recommend surgery unless there is real discomfort or a strong need. For under-eye area surgery, he said they would do it if I really wanted, but that I didn’t have to, which also made me feel relieved. Because he compared photos of my eyes with various case photos and explained things in detail, I felt it was trustworthy, but I still feel torn because I do want to do something about it. ㅠ
