This is a review of a surgery I had 2 years ago. Back then I didn't know Gangnam Unni had so many reviews, and I got tempted by the reviews there and traveled from South Gyeongsang Province all the way to Seoul to get lower eyelid fat repositioning..ㅋㅋ But even after the surgery, they didn't explain things like how to care for myself properly afterward, and the post-op response felt clumsy. But as everyone who has had surgery knows, since it's your first surgery, you don't know what to do and you worry a lot, so explanations about aftercare are important. I felt the feedback in that area was really lacking, and the lower part under my right eye started looking like it was bulging out and the groove underneath became darker (at first only I could really see it), so I kept asking for feedback and even visited Seoul in person, but they said the groove could be because of the strength of my lower eyelid ligament and that it could also be from swelling, so we should watch it. They said they didn't really understand the bulging part I was feeling, and I left without getting any real feedback. But as time passed, the groove got darker, and now if anyone looks, it looks like I got hit under the eye or that it was stamped in, and it's really sunken in ㅋㅋ Anyway, for the whole year they kept saying it was swelling, or the ligament, and time passed like that. Then after about another year, when it kept getting worse, I sent photos, and they said they'd set up a revision surgery date, but even though they clearly knew I was from the provinces, they said they couldn't schedule it because they had to operate on new patients during Chuseok? When I said I couldn't take time off work, they told me to do it over the weekend ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Is that even something to say..ㅋㅋ So at that point I was like, fine, let's just think of the right eye as money wasted and leave it alone. But now the indentation under my right eye is so obvious.. it's getting worse and it's dark.. ;; In my opinion, the part tied with thread on the right eye seems to have come loose, and the fat repositioned area probably didn't settle properly and heal, so the fat filled back in, and the groove area may have adhered or something like that. I'm not a doctor so I don't know, but the groove seems to have become really dark. Honestly, every time I look in the mirror I get insanely stressedㅋㅋㅡㅡ I even get told I look tired; my dad says it looks like something got stamped under my eye..ㅋㅋ I was going to write a review before so that there wouldn't be people like me, but I was too lazy and didn't. Then just now I told the clinic by sending photos, and they sent me the AS period and said they'd arrange revision surgery, but because I didn't say anything earlier, now they are only replying that it would have to be 100% self-paidㅋㅋㅠㅠㅋㅋ I told them by phone that it couldn't be done during Chuseok, so I guess the KakaoTalk consultation record makes it look like I just didn't reply..ㅋㅋ I'm so annoyed..ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Right after the surgery I asked for so much feedback about the right eye, but they just let a whole year pass talking about swelling and ligaments and so on, then after a year they said revision surgery couldn't be done because of Chuseok, and now they're only saying they don't know about the eye feedback and that it's 100% self-pay... sigh....
