The director apparently attends rhinoplasty conferences in other countries and seems to have extensive experience with revision rhinoplasty for noses with complications. However, because I was worried about complications after my first surgery and wanted a conservative procedure with anything unnecessary omitted, the director said things like I had looked at too much information online and that the internet naturally has a lot of stories like that. They even said that cold medicine can have side effects, but I don't know whether rhinoplasty can really be compared with cold medicine... They said I could choose between silicone and Gore-Tex. When I asked whether Gore-Tex isn't used much these days, they said that in other countries such as Taiwan or Hong Kong, 80–90% of people use Gore-Tex instead of silicone. But after I got home and searched YouTube, I saw a video saying that although Gore-Tex is widely used in China, complications from it have also been increasingly reported there recently. After that, the consultation manager continued explaining and emphasized that their clinic had no cases of complications and that celebrities often came in groups to have surgery there. Overall, I felt this was not a place that suited my risk-averse tendencies.
