The doctor is not the friendly type, and by my standards, I felt offended. I asked, “Will the surgery be effective?” He sighed without saying anything, then said something like, “You came here saying you would do it, so does that matter?” Could you not simply say whether it would work or not? Why be so condescending? He asked whether I wanted to reduce it by one-third or by two-thirds. But how would a patient know that? Since this was my first clinic and I did not know, I said, “One-third?” Then he criticized me, saying there would be no effect if it were reduced that much. Wouldn't it have been better to explain that from the beginning? I went there expecting a lot from the doctor, but left the consultation furious.
